Improved Velocity Estimation Method for Doppler Sonar Based on Accuracy Evaluation and Selection

چکیده

The matched filtering method and the waveform-tracking cannot maintain optimal velocity estimation performance all of time. In order to solve this problem, paper proposes an improved for Doppler sonar, based on accuracy evaluation selection. echo sonar is divided into several segments with same width as transmitted pulse, each segment regarded corresponding water layer. According our study’s results, positively correlated ratio its autocorrelation modulus power. Based conclusion, a criterion high low complexity designed in select layers or bottoms. proposed selection flexibly selects interval be processed according criterion, so current’s bottom’s velocity. Water tank field experiments using prototype device demonstrates that, compared method, average bias are superior.
